2021 :Accomplishments & Resolutions
If the plan doesn’t work, change the plan, but never the goal.
We just finished 2020 and with every year we think of new starts and resolutions, but what a New Year does give us is… hope.
Hope that things will change. Hope that we can change. Hope that we can make things change.
It was a unique year from different aspects while writing this blog I figured out that 2020 was a year full of accomplishments for me.
I started writing my stories on Medium.com, the first article was in January 12, 2020 and it was about “Udacity AI scholarship” where I described my journey, after that I wrote technical and non-technical blogs like “How to deal with imposter syndrome”, “A step by step Guide on Sentiment Analysis with RNN and LSTM”, “The Coumpound Effect”, and the last one was “Classical ML vs. Deep Learning”…
One year passed and I figured out that a lot have changed, one year before I started my social media journey and I was active on my LinkedIn profile, the first thing I shared was my acceptance into a scholarship program offered by Udacity, it was seen by 350 people and a few months later my posts were seen by more than 10 000 people.
Then I started #60_Day_challenge, I needed to share my progress every day for 60 days I stopped on day 37 which mean I made it to the half of way (let’s look on the bright side).
I also took my certification in Deep Learning from Coursera after 5 months of work, and also I was between 350 people out of 10 000 people to get a scholarship with Microsoft Azure.
In 2020 I started my YouTube channel and also been part of a group who is working on Alexa skills for kids in the US.
I met several people and had a lot of opportunities one of them my invitation as a speaker in Women on Data science which will be held virtually in March 15th
Resolutions
Now I would like to share with you some specifics, “resolutions”.
These are the changes I would like to make:
- Posting quality content with consistency in LinkedIn.
- Focus more on my GitHub.
- Get my Website ready.
- Attend more conferences.
- No phone during mealtime or conversation time.
- Never be late.
I plan on documenting everything here on Medium. So stay in touch as I will keep you posted on all my successes and failure in 2021, and hopefully, we will all learn and get better.
